Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Glyfo at glyfo.co (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, with or without an account.

2. What Glyfo is

Glyfo is a design token playground that lets you experiment with typography, color, spacing, and iconography and see them applied to live UI components. Signed-in users can save and retrieve their style configurations. The Service is provided free of charge.

3. Your account

You may use Glyfo without an account. If you choose to sign in with Google, you are responsible for maintaining the security of that account. You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are used for abusive, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.

4. Your content

Style configurations you save (“Your Content”) remain yours. By saving content to our servers, you grant us a limited license to store and serve it back to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service.

You may delete your saved styles or your entire account at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to abuse the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to distribute malware or harmful content

6. Intellectual property

The Glyfo name, logo, and the Service itself are our intellectual property. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use our trademarks or branding.

The exported design tokens and CSS you generate with Glyfo are yours to use freely, without restriction or attribution requirement.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with Google (for authentication) and Google Fonts (for font loading). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glyfo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
